Initial Consultation

Free (15-20 min)

Before we establish a therapeutic relationship, I ask that we meet via phone for an initial consultation session. This call gives you an opportunity to share your current concerns and goals, ask any questions and learn more about how I work as a psychologist. If we decide that I could be a good fit then we would set a time to meet for an intake session.

Intake Session

$250 (60-75 min)

This initial assessment gives us an opportunity to continue exploring therapeutic fit. I will spend session time learning about your background, exploring presenting concerns, clarifying goals and we will begin to collaborate and develop a treatment plan. For individuals seeking support for any chronic health conditions, including cancer, I will likely ask for a release of information to connect with your medical team so I can better understand your case and determine an appropriate and optimal path forward.

Individual Therapy

$250 a session (50 min)

1:1 therapy sessions are usually held weekly but can be case dependent. To start, I usually recommend weekly sessions to cultivate a strong therapeutic alliance and keep up the momentum as you make healthy progress. Once sustained change has occurred, we can discuss and collaborate on tapering down sessions to enhance your confidence and self-efficacy. I believe that true change happens in between-sessions, so I often encourage take-home exercises to put these skills and strategies into practice.

Couples & Family Therapy

$300 a session (75 min)

The onset and ongoing challenges of chronic illness, such as cancer, can unfortunately increase tension and stress in couples and families. Especially when a partner and/or family member(s) assume the responsibility of caregiver. In couples and family therapy, the focus is geared towards exploring the couples/family dynamic and develop strategies to improve communication, manage stress collectively, build empathy, create conflict-resolution strategies that will strengthen bonds and build resilience.
